New Moon in Taurus:  
Two weeks ago at the Scorpio Full Moon, we experienced Scorpio themes such as death or purging (of the things in our lives we no longer need), intensity, transformations, and regeneration. Opposite Scorpio is Taurus, and through the astrological polarity, we gain an understanding of how the relationships between the death and transformations of Scorpio (i.e. letting things go that no longer serve you) will help to bring a sense of rejuvenated self-worth, self-esteem, and self-mastery into our lives. 

As the second sign of the Zodiac, Taurus’ responsibility is to help ground and stabilize our energy so we can establish roots and grow in new ways. To allow growth to flourish, Taurus’ role is to help us understand how to utilize and rely on own intrinsic gifts, talents and resources, and the value that brings to our lives providing stability and security, so we can enjoy simple pleasures, leisure, and more social pastimes. 

This month, the Taurus New Moon represents the emotional desire to grow in new ways based on our sense of self-worth, self-esteem and self-mastery. It is an excellent time to understand the value you intrinsically have to offer to the world and to others, the things in our life that we ourselves value, and the values within our society will all come under closer inspection under this Taurus New Moon. 

New Moons are the perfect time to start new ideas or endeavors under the energies of the ruling Moon.

Venus, the ruler of Taurus, will have an extra strong impact on the Taurus New Moon because it will be unaspected.  

Venus represents love and one of the most amazing fertilizers in the Universe for growth is LOVE. Venus is also beauty, well-being, gentleness, affections, and leisure. She softens and creates pleasant situations, is charming, sensual, and loves to get along with others, understanding companionship either through romantic or social leisure, and seeking a life of comfort and ease. Because Venus will be in Gemini at this time, it will enhance the levity and charm of her social graces. 

If we consciously draw in all of Venus’ good qualities, we will harness the Venusian energy, otherwise the unaspected Venus may create a disconnection to love, beauty, fertility, financial abundance, etc. making the aspects of Venus feel out of reach at this time. So, feel the love, beauty, value and self-worthiness at this time and draw it in! 

Taurus is one of the signs of abundance (along with Sagittarius – which is the next Full Moon) making this is a really great time to do manifestation work around gaining abundance and understanding any blockages around it come the Sagittarius Full Moon at the end of the month.   

Mars and Pluto Trine the New Moon:
Both Mars and Pluto will trine this New Moon activating and empowering the pleasure and ease principles of the Taurean New Moon energy. 

Anything Taurean or Venusian that we direct our energy to will have the healthy support of Mars with its trine to the New Moon. The initiatives that we act upon will be supported harmoniously with emotional ease and self-confidence, giving us vitalizing emotional energy and opening doors for self-will and confidence. 

Pluto trining the New Moon will provide the ability to concentrate and apply a will-power stemming from a deeply powerful and vitalizing life-force energy enabling for regenerative transformations which may be necessary at this time. 

This will become a time when you are able to make maximum use of purposeful directions, innate resources, and creative potentials, turning them to your advantage to achieve your goals.

All this is fostered by feeling more deeply at this time. Allow for a deeply intuitive sense of inner security and self-assured confidence in your strengths to flourish - the energy is helping you to be able to penetrate a level of perceptions into deeper or hidden agendas and motivations.  

Because of the trine from Pluto, if there were any internal or sub-conscious blocks previously frustrating your success, this can become a time where you will be able to understand your deeper motivations. 

Think about areas in your life you want to change as now is the time of manifestation! Make that impression you have been wanting to make, your energy levels will be strong and you can exert yourself without exhaustion. Use the time to make your life evolve and grow! 

Come the Sagittarius Full moon in two weeks, we will understand how the (Taurean) self-esteem and values help us to fortify our (Sagittarius) belief systems and the information, communications or the connections to our immediate surroundings (Gemini) we need to gather to arrive at a more elevated understanding of our lives.
