Gemini New Moon 

Soo, what happened around the Sagittarius Full Moon?  Did any of the Sagittarius themes show up and were illuminated for you? Themes like the truth, beliefs about our existence, spirituality, moral principles, codes of ethics, freedom, cultural exchanges, and seeing the bigger picture?

We are now arriving at the New Moon and after it turns New, the emotional pulse of our energy will be best applied to initiate outwards and forward in the world. 

At a Gemini New Moon we gain an understanding of such things as how to initiate new ways to interact with a variety of other people, to remain versatile, adaptable, flexible, to keep things fun and light, to perceive or learn things from all or different angles, and to assimilate and communicate that out to your world.

Gemini’s role is to lift us up, to stimulate curiosities, to reach out to others to understand as much as possible about the world around you, and to remain objective about it. It is the social butterfly of the Zodiac, spreading itself a little bit, but everywhere and shifting where the winds blow.   

Our minds will want to learn more and communicate it out how you need to; with friends, on social media, online classes, reading/writing a book, or artistic or musical expressions. It will be the perfect time to do such things. We may find we are focused on transportation, want to take short trips around the area, we are answering a lot of emails or begin training at work, or coming up with new ideas in our lives. The call for this New Moon is to EXPRESS yourself to others. Yet, don’t forget to listen just as much, under the realm of Gemini, it’s about a two way street exchange.

Emotionally speaking, the airy Moon in Gemini needs to analyze, classify the emotional currents, to talk it out one-on-one or with others, and move on.  It can also easily detach emotionally and rationalize feelings verses getting in too deep.

So, through this next New Moon, seek stimulation, keep an open mind, be versatile in your approach, stay lighthearted, adapting to the shifting circumstances, and above all, be truly you. Cosmic forces are asking us all to be original and unique – to be authentically ourselves. That is how we are progressing up the spiritual ladder of ascension at this present time and uniting with our destines. 

For those who have been spiritual warriors on the quest for ascension, this New Moon square Neptune is asking us to remain spiritually motivated, be a beacon of light to others, be angelic messengers, intellectualize our spiritual insights to the world, act on having compassion for others, be co-creators with the Universe, and to release your creative spirits. This can be a time of great intellectual spiritual transcendence.  Some may meet their spiritual equal.

If you have experienced situations with a bit of tension making you want to crawl in your cocoon again, the energies are motivating us to heal ourselves with rational emotional maturity and thoughtful care for ourselves and others. This is a cosmic test of preparation as the Nodes of the Moon are about to shift into Cancer/Capricorn, come the eclipses in the month of July, highlighting the need to focus on inner and outer emotional maturity and security over the next 18 months. 

For now, emotional balance comes from being connected to your tribe, having others in your life to share your feelings about what you have learned, and to keep seeking authentic spiritual self-empowerment. 

If we are escaping our shadows, hiding behind facades, anxiously shifting from getting too deep, Neptune square the New Moon, will highlight the need for healing. You may be asked to understand clear emotional boundaries. Are you able to rationalize your emotions before you communicate? You may be asked to see the other person’s point of view. Are you doing the work to clear your vessel from the shadows? Are you able to be objective, understand the bigger picture in your life, and not be emotionally confused and swing with moods?  

Superficial values, being susceptible to outside influences, or being narrow-minded and gossipy might be symptoms of current disillusionment or unclear boundaries. Under this square, it will be wise to be mindful of reality blurring substances, such as alcohol and marijuana. Use them with responsibility for spiritually motivating ways, not to distort or hide from reality. Harness ways in which you can protect yourself from others who do not have a healthy sense of boundaries, and make you feel anxious. Use power-building rituals to burn sage in the air for psychic protections. Use visualization techniques to create the boundaries you need between the psychic either.

​With Neptune squaring the Moon in Gemini, we will want to watch for environmental hypersensitivities, such as allergies and respiratory conditions.

Issues with personal power is also surfacing at the moment. So, asking if you have power over how your life turns out, or not, will remain in question for you to explore through these Gemini shifts. 

And lastly, don’t be surprised if some relationships need to change due to our changing values. These relationships are actually serving as a healing and awakening catalyst at the moment and karmic contracts can be cut if you need them to. Through your discussions, the need to have compassion and to think of others is being severely tested, so be kind. Speaking with care for others’ feelings may be in order and communicating in a gentle or even an indirect way, might be the key.  

With Jupiter in Scorpio trining Neptune, the way towards our spiritual expansion is through digging into the psyche for those golden nuggets of our soul hidden beneath the shadow. That is where expansion for gaining wisdom and abundance resides.
