Full Moon in Sagittarius  

The Full Moon in Sagittarius will be exact on May 29, 2018 at 10:19 am EST (9:19 am CST/ 6:19 am PST) at 08 degrees of Sagittarius/Gemini. 

Two weeks ago, the Taurus New Moon provided fertile grounds from which to gain a sense of self mastery over our lives.

We now arrive at the Sagittarius Full Moon, which is about coming to a holistic and complete understanding of our personal truth. By owning our self-mastery last month, stepping into our truth will become much easier, and the Sagittarius Full Moon will highlight that level of truth within our lives in the days surrounding it. Opposite Sagittarius, is the Gemini Sun, which will help us define the details building up to this one, uniform, and complete version of our truth. 

At the heart, Sagittarius/Gemini is the astrological axis of the mental planes.

Realizations occurring during a Full Moon in Sagittarius – Sun in Gemini is enhanced by balancing our lower and higher minds. Gemini’s goal is to explore dualities - both sides of a situation or the many various aspects, and to communicate through logic, which is the lower (masculine) mind. Sagittarius’ goals is to end duality by reuniting opposites, or the various pieces, to make one complete vision in its quest for the absolute truth. Sagittarius intuitively knows the truth through the higher expansive (feminine) mind. 

Accordingly, Sagittarius rules our broader belief systems, and that can take the form of philosophies, religions, and spirituality, which helps one make sense of life.

In the days surrounding this Sagittarius Full Moon, we may be emotionally and instinctually charged towards the framework of belief systems which uphold our lives, for better or for worse. Although, with so many positive aspects in the sky at this Full Moon, it is sure to be inspiring and expansive!

However, if we are not in touch with our subconscious drives (Moon) this month, we may find that we are pulling in situations where our “flash-reactions” are restless, scattered, and/or narrow-minded in our approach or perspective and unable to be guided by our higher minds, to see the larger, more holistic and complete picture. (Any holistic techniques such as meditation, yoga, reiki, sound therapy, etc. will be very beneficial.)

Look for these themes showing up in and around your life at this time to make the necessary adjustments along the way for greater self-mastery and manifestations. 

Ruled by Jupiter, a Full Moon in Sagittarius can also help to understand how Jupitarian traits such as our ability to expand our minds, attract abundance, opportunity, and to gain wisdom will help us to feel more emotional secure and empowered. If we are aligned with our emotions at this Full Moon, we may feel more meaning in our lives, be inspired to take leaps of faith, be more freedom-loving, spontaneous, more idealistic, and optimistic. We may have a sense of buoyancy, feel jovial, more friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic.

The Gemini Sun throughout the month will be nudging us to explore this expansion through new thoughts, (social) media, teaching, and our local neighborhood and communities.

Mercury rules commerce, stimulates the mind and the exchange of ideas, so any realizations of inspiration may come from a new idea (especially for business) or sharpen your ability to act on your creative will. It will also certainly help any communications.

It will also enhance a belief in your own abilities and support a desire for fairness, integrity, honesty and respect around any ethical and moral considerations which may appear at this time.
