The first half of this year promises to bring beautiful life-changing experiences and achievements which will be felt at a deeply emotional and spiritual level. 

This partial solar eclipse in Capricorn on January 5, 2019 will be in effect over the next two weeks, and extending through the next 6 months as an overarching theme, over the Moon cycles until the next set of eclipses, occurring in July 2019. 

The areas of life this eclipse will affect will be home/family/emotional security and career/society/ego-maturity.

For the next 6 months, events that unfold will trigger emotional responses from your inner child, indicating your emotional well-being and the achievements of your role, status or duty within society, be that in your career, marriage, and a commitment towards growing maturity.

Now is an excellent time to ask yourself if you are the self-empowered authority in control of your own life.

Consider the inner child dialogue you listen to due to the behavioral impressions you encountered growing up.

Notice if the types of experiences you draw in as an adult are the same repeating behavioral patterns you had as a child. 

If there was a lack of proper nurturance and protection received as a child, opportunities to reevaluate for healing as a self-accountable adult may appear. 

Fear, rigidity, oppression, constriction, bullying, pessimism, lack of control, confusion, mental aggression, indecisiveness, lack of confidence, power-struggles, manipulation and defeat are all negative adult emotions that may show up, indicating the need to examine if they started in early childhood development.

Examine how the external world operates and responds to the feelings and thoughts of your inner world and vice versa.

Make note of any emotional restrictions you want to reclaim and have authority over, so that you can feel a sense of self-actuated maturity and achievement in life.

If you encounter harsh, controlling, oppressive people or circumstances, know they are opportunities appearing as blessings for evaluation.

Focus on the persuasion of creatively joining forces versus fighting against one another, as this is powerfully transforming energy away from aggressive tendencies within all of us, personally and culturally. Use it wisely. Let go peacefully if it just doesn’t work anymore. 

Power comes when you recognize what you cannot control, or cannot fix, and turn shortcomings into strengths by accepting they exist. The best way forward is having an intention and inviting Spirit to guild and support you, without controlling the outcome or worrying about all the details.   

Remember, these energies last until July 2019 as an overall theme. 

Set new priorities by stepping up and owning your inner authority, liberating yourself from any psychologically repeating patterns of “the universe” taking your power and control away.

If you have been working on aligning with your authentic self, you may find you are more serious, powerful, in control, trusting, confidant, determined, ambitious as well as empathetic, compassionate and spiritual. You will be ready to put plans in place, secure in the level of emotional comfort you have with your life, allowing your vision and spirituality to motivate and guide you. 

If you feel you have been going it alone without support or facing the darker sides of your own or another’s deceptive, confusing and aggressive experiences, endured now or in the past, this solar eclipse will help you to embody your inner spiritual warrior and be more courageous and assertive to take action to heal. Be ready to cultivate bravery by finding the right balance and level of assertion you need to allow right-relationships, standing up for yourself and standing your ground, by being firm but gracious.   

Seek to step up to your empowered and self-directed sense of self-leadership and authority to take heroic actions in your life to nurture the soul.

The more you do, the more energy you will have and avoid being drained by experiencing pain and suffering from a blinded subconscious.

Whatever held you back, or you avoided in the past may become less of a problem now. Greater stability is likely in places where there was little before, as you may recognize what you can and not control. Again, let go if needed. 

All that you have been working on in terms of values, relationships, stability, ease, your self-worth and love since September of 2018 will start to transform and become easier to build upon, seeing growth and progress. There will now be an increased desire for natural feel-good magnetism in the air within social interactions from wanting to reach out and relate to others in harmonious, fun and stimulating ways.

Those looking for love will be more in the mood to get out and mingle, sparking the flames of the heart to attract admirers. Relaxation, enjoyment, increased personal beauty, charisma, and creativity will come easier now and allow you to better express yourself. It’s a great time to start any creative project or one you are passionate about. By being more motivated to work at achieving your goals creatively, opportunities should arise to make financial progress. 

Your thoughts, communications, learning, and intuition will be stimulated and best put to use calculating concrete plans to build better systems and structures of support. Be flexible, keep an open mind, and put your thoughts and words to action, activating any need to communicate and express yourself to get plans moving.   

In some cases, anger, hurt, misunderstandings or heated mental states may come easily and make it difficult to understand emotionally. Be sure to listen carefully and think twice before jumping to conclusions on the defensive. Watch your ego and maintain rationale. Choose your battles carefully as you will have to deal with the fallout the next day.

Rather, find constructive ways to channel your stimulated mental energy before reaching frustration. Freeing your mind and planning ahead will better allow opportunities to manifest for change. Exciting or unexpected news may be coming your way, if so.

Allow enthusiasm to develop, as you find interesting and like-minded people to express your thoughts and ideas with now. Social Media will most likely reach new levels of expression. 

A spiritual glow, as well as angst, will be rising and we will feel the need to connect with Spirit more deeply than before – seeking new ways to increase levels of conscious awareness of the non-physical worlds and bring truth to what before was previously hidden. 

Excitingly, material gains and making your dreams a reality are more possible now and will come from visionary, spiritual and idealistic pursuits. The laws of attraction will be very strong, allowing greater chances of your dreams coming true with a vision, plan, feeling, and knowing of the ideal, allowing Spirit to fill in the details.  

You may be more emotionally sensitive and start to see life with more beauty, compassion and sensitivity, becoming more empathetic and concerned for the underprivileged or victimized. This growing empathy will most likely have an uplifting effect on others and help raise the spiritual vibrations.

This may be the energy we need to tip the scales and see more efforts made towards loosening the constraints of the system, making life more relaxing, pleasant and enjoyable around the globe. 

In fact, your need for freedom from restrictions and gaining comfort will show up by the Lunar Eclipse in Leo on January 21 to further examine your ability to be emotionally in control and live with your heart and soul guiding you.

The following Partial Solar Eclipse in Cancer energies will resonate during the next six months. 

Two weeks ago, the Capricorn Full Moon illuminated an awareness or completion around our fathers, careers, society, authorities, our goals or the structures in our lives. 

We now arrive at the Cancer Partial Solar Eclipse, which will provide an influx of energies around our emotional lives and the sense of the nurturance or security it provides us with. Getting back to your roots and your inner child to reshape your emotional legacy with a healthier ego is key now. 

With Pluto’s opposition, watch for ways you can transform or regenerate your career, the structures in your life, or how your ambitions, goals, society, reputation or authorities (father, parents, bosses, government) are playing into your life in an emotionally satisfying way. If these aspects are not balanced, now is your time to act on it, or initiate new ways to feel more supported. The goal is to set up structures to feel more emotionally empowered and equipped to face leading a purposeful and empowered role in your own life. 

Messages and situations will show up to help you transform and heal these aspects. Watch for them. Is your home in order and does it make you feel good?  Do you have healthy structures in place such as exercise, therapy or meditation to fortify you emotionally? Is your family’s emotional or ancestral legacy showing up to initiate change?  Do you feel empowered in your career or oppressed? 

If there is work to be done around these themes, intense subconscious emotions or power struggles with others to gain emotional security may surface as indicators in order to make adjustments.
