 Hi Beautiful Sisters! <3 In honor of celebrating the Summer Solstice, Virginia has graciously invited us to her Block Island home for the weekend of June 15-17. (actual Summer Solstice is Th, June 21, 2018) We will also help Virginia celebrate her last days at her BI home as it is currently on the market, so it will be extra special. I will have more information to come about the "soft" agenda for the weekend which will include: A Pagan inspired celebration on Sat Some beach time day and night (rocky beach in walking distance, sand beach by car) Bonfires at the house and on the beach Guided star-gazing Nature hike Kayaking And if we are lucky, maybe Virginia will break out her guitar! If you are thinking of joining us for the overnight stays, please indicate in the comments below so I can get an accurate count. There are only 12 beds available. You are welcome to join in the rides to the ferry so you do not have to pay to park at Point Judith. If you want flexibility to come and go when you please, leaving a car at the ferry is between $10-15 per day/night. We will have 3 cars on BI which hold 5 people each so we can all get around the island on excursions. If you cannot attend overnight, please feel free to join us for the day! I will have more information in the days to come on food, etc but wanted to post this so everyone had a chance to block those days off your calendars. If you plan to drive with us down instead of leaving a car at the ferry, we will collect a $15 fee for the expense of the cars that will be going over to the Island so we can get around. We will meet in Providence on Saturday morning and leave no later than 8:00 am. *Also keep in mind that Sunday the 17th is Father's day in case you need to come back early to be with family.
